That is a mis-characterization. However, the NRC is indeed full of young, smart, successful, talented, service-oriented, and (yes) single engineers. Given that situation, some romances do happen. The NRC is obviously an agency where people are also allowed to show they have a sense of humor. Just one more reason the NRC is the best place to work in the federal government! The NRC doesn’t have a dating service. That is a mis-characterization.
